I wasn't so happy with this page, but seeing as the rest of you like it I'm glad I let it go. We're not always the best judges of our own work maybe.
As to what's going on in that last panel... well, I wasn't trying for a 'pink explosion' as much as a kind of glare from the Glass Tsar. I imagined the big blue baby acting as battering ram to get them out of the Tsar's chamber. I also imagined the inside of the Tsar's chamber to be that pandimensional place of ancient floating ruins that Ian did so beautifully at the end of the last HUZZAH.
I mention this because we seem to move from one scene to another in real time in HUZZAH, and that helps continuity. This, after all, is the game of "meanwhile in space". ;-)
A fitting time for my comment me thinks! I love what you've done here Rob, pushing yourself again with great results. I completely got your last pan and was seriously thinking of HUZZAH!!ing if only to draw the room itself! And your pan one planets are sooo purty!
1. A contributor must acknowledge their turn with a comment on the last submission after which they have 3 days to submit their turn.
2. Scene changes may only occur in panel one of each page. A contributor may take this opportunity to start a new chapter. A new chapter may start no less than 4 pages after the last chapter. 3. A contributor cannot follow directly after their last turn and can only Huzzah once per page. 4. If after 24 hrs no contributor has acknowledged their turn then rule 3 is suspended for that round and any contributor may claim the next plate. 5. "HUZZAH!! VENGEANCE OF VOLDAR" draws to a conclusion on December 22nd 2010

Lovely! Great change of pace and some beautiful colours
Looks fantastic! Great to get back to the Baron.
'Bone wars' certainly conjours up some imagery.
Nice work Rob, like the change in style.

A beauty, you beauty! Tasty palette and a great last panel. Yum!
Excellent.
One of my favourite Huzzah pages ever! Nice work Rob.
